Job Summary:

The Assembler will assemble manufactured products and assemble them according to specifications.

Duties/Responsibilities:

● Assembles machinery, fabricated metal products, electrical equipment, appliances, and more
according to directions.
● Reads blueprints, schematics, or similar documentation, then builds to those specifications.
● Uses various hand tools to accomplish assigned tasks.
● Maintains equipment and tools and performs basic repairs when needed.
● Periodically checks products per company policy to ensure quality and uniform completion;
resolves any identified problems and alerts supervisor.
● Operates forklift to move heavy equipment around.
● Cleans and lubricates equipment, maintains a manufacturing area free from debris and dirt, and
readies or puts away tools as assigned.
● Reports any issues to the supervisor or higher-level employee.
● Measures finished parts with precision tools, ensuring compliance with function, quality, and
cosmetic specifications.
● Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:
● Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics.
● Ability to read a tape measure.
● Detail-oriented and consistent.
● Works well as a productive member of a team.
● Ability to properly maintain and perform basic repairs on equipment.
● Basic ability in mathematics, reading, or writing.

Education and Experience:

● High school diploma or equivalent required.

Physical Requirements:
● Prolonged periods of standing, bending, and crouching down.
● Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds at a time.
● Must have manual dexterity in order to assemble products as directed.
● Must have excellent hand-eye coordination.
● Ability to differentiate between colored wires, tabs, and electronic components.
● Must wear steel-toed boots and safety glasses.

A fabricator is a skilled worker who transforms raw materials into finished products by cutting, shaping, and assembling various parts using specialized tools and equipment.

Duties/Responsibilities:

● Perform fabrication tasks such as cutting, shaping, and assembling metal parts.
● Operate machinery and use hand tools to fabricate metal components.
● Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings.
● Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment.
● Collaborate with team members to ensure project completion on time.

Requirements:

● Experience in machining, soldering, rigging, and using hand tools.
● Proficiency in operating cranes for lifting heavy materials.
● Knowledge of stick welding and welding techniques.
● Familiarity with codes and standards related to fabrication work.
● Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
● Ability to use plasma cutting equipment effectively.
● Additional duties may be included.

Required Skills/Abilities:

● Thorough understanding of machines and tools used in welding including designs, uses,
maintenance and repair.
● Basic understanding of design techniques, principles, and tools necessary for the precise
production of technical plans, drawings, models and blueprints.
● Excellent ability to read and listen to assignments given in a variety of forms.
● Basic understanding of mathematics as related to welding assignments.

Physical Requirements:

● Must have enough manual dexterity and stability as required for precision work.
● Must be able to see details at close range.
● Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
● Must be able to traverse facilities and machinery by climbing, balancing, lifting, walking,
stooping, and carrying materials.

Job Summary:

As a Parts Warranty Claims Specialist at Air-tow Trailers, you will be an integral part of our post-sales team. Your primary role will be to manage and oversee parts services, handle warranty claims, and ensure customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving.

Duties and Responsibilities:
● Processes and manages warranty claims in a timely and efficient manner.
● Work with the Materials Manager to stock and manage trailer parts inventory.
● Provide technical assistance and support to customers regarding parts and warranty inquiries.
● Work closely with the sales and service teams to ensure seamless post-sales support.
● Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of Air-tow Trailers’ products and services.
● Handle customer queries and concerns with professionalism, providing solutions that align with company policies and core values.
● Maintain accurate records of inventory for parts, warranty claims, and customer interactions.
● Collaborate with the manufacturing team to address and resolve product issues.
● Maintain knowledge about industry trends and best practices in parts service and warranty
management.
● Document processes to streamline your operations and create efficiencies.
● Collaborate with other departments to develop part manuals for new products.
● Develop a parts room and department in the Ohio facility.

Required Skills and Abilities:
● Strong understanding of mechanical components and technical aspects of trailers.
● Excellent communication and customer service skills.
● Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
● Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
● Proficiency in using inventory management software and MS Office Suite.

Education and Experience:
● Associate degree or equivalent required.
● Proven experience in parts service, warranty handling, or a related field
● Experience in the trailer or automotive industry is a plus

Physical Requirements:
● Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
● Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at a time.
