After more than 20 years of designing and manufacturing innovative ground-level loading trailers, Air-tow Trailers is entering its next phase of growth with a major expansion of its Wapakoneta, Ohio manufacturing facility.
Construction is officially underway on a $6.8 million facility expansion that will add approximately 76,000 square feet to the current building, bringing the total facility size to more than 114,000 square feet. The expansion is expected to be completed in May 2027 and will support Air-tow’s continued growth while improving manufacturing efficiency and operations.
Expanding to Support Growing Demand
Over the past two decades, Air-tow has continued to grow as more customers recognize the benefits of ground-level loading technology. Contractors, equipment rental companies, municipalities, and many more rely on Air-tow Trailers to safely and efficiently transport their equipment.
With increased demand comes the need for additional manufacturing capacity and improved processes. This expansion allows Air-tow to better support future growth while continuing to build trailers with the same quality and reliability customers expect.

Bringing Ohio Operations Together Under One Roof
A key part of the expansion is bringing Air-tow’s Ohio manufacturing operations together in one location.
Consolidating operations will create a more streamlined manufacturing process, improve communication between teams, and allow for greater efficiency throughout production. The expanded facility will also include updated office spaces to better support employees and future growth.
By bringing more of our operations together, Air-tow will be positioned to continue improving workflow, increasing capacity, and meeting the needs of customers and dealers across North America.

Celebrating the Groundbreaking
Air-tow officially celebrated the start of construction with a groundbreaking ceremony attended by employees, community leaders, and local partners.
